UNESCO informs about an award of “UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development”.  The award is established for the persons, institutions and organizations who have significantly contributed to the promotion of education focusing on one or more priorities of ESD Global Action Plan.  First three winners will get US $ 50,000 each. Each country can submit a maximum of three candidates.  The application of the candidate must have a support letter in English, which shall include following:  • A general information about the candidate and his achievements,  • A brief statement of the candidate's work and its results,  • Candidate's contribution to the achievement of the awarded purposes.  Find the details here: https://en.unesco.org/esd-prize.  Possible candidates must submit electronic versions of applications until May 15, to the Department of development of programs and monitoring of RA MES.
