Gyumri Branch
ASUE Gyumri branch was founded on May 30, 1997, by the 161st decree of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
The University prepares the following specialists having just one Department, two specializations (finance and credit, accounting and auditing:
Bachelor’s Degree
- Finance (full-time, part-time)
- Accounting (full-time)
- Management (full-time)
- Marketing (full-time)
Master’s Degree
- Accounting and Taxation (by sector)
- Organization and management of banks
- Customs Administration
- Business Administration (Management)
The two-tiered education system was introduced since 2004-2005 academic year. The number of students is 473 in the 2018-2019 academic year.
The educational process is organized in accordance with the standards of the Mother University, with a two-tiered education system's credit assessment method. Auditoriums equipped with modern technical equipment have been opened in order to modernize university education.
Since 2016, agreements have been reached with a number of European Universities for the students of ASUE Gyumri Branch to continue studies at those universities and professors to attend exchange programs within frames of “Erasmus +” program. More than a dozen students took part in the exchange program within two years.
During the past three years, the Faculty has published a number of manuals, scientific articles. The professors have attended more than three dozen international conferences in different scientific and educational centers around the world.
Now the University carries out various projects for development.
Here are the three major projects: the library replenishment and creation of the reading hall, the opening of a continuing and informal education center, and the University's efforts to make the University a research center.
