Invitation to a job fair

State Employment Agency has organized a job fair, which will take place on April 30, at 11:00-17:00, where you can:

- meet at least 50 different employers from various areas, particularly services, telecommunications, IT, etc.

- establish contacts with different employers immediately,

- find jobs matching your qualifications,

- be included in various employers’ reserves,

- receive information on the labor market,

- receive information regarding employment state program.

The event will take place near Swan Lake.

5 things you should bring to the job fair:

  1. Copies of CV. Make sure that it effectively represents your knowledge, skills and abilities. It should look professional, easy to read, be on a clean white paper and free of spelling mistakes. If you are looking for several professional job, it is advisable to have more than CV-s, for different professional purposes.
  2. Smile, positive attitude and a strong handshake. The first impression is important: approach the employer, smile and shake employers hand while introducing yourself.
  3. 30-second presentation. Give the representative of the organization your CV and be prepared quickly develop around it. Share with your professional interests, for example: "Hello, I'm Your name ... I am very interested in the field of professional marketing opportunities. As you can see from my CV, I have recently completed my internship in the "X" organization. At the same time, I have participated a couple of courses on Business Marketing. I would like to inquire about opportunities of marketing career in your organization".
  4. Gather information about the organizations presented in the fair.
  5. Energy. You need to move from one table to another during the fair.

5 things that you shouldn’t do during the job fair:

  1. Do not walk around the area with friends.
  2. Do not carry big bags.
  3. Do not miss a moment of your time to talk to the employers.
  4. Dress properly.
  5. Do not come during the last half an hour.

  1. The business cards of the organizations.
  2. Notes on your acquired connections.
  3. Information about the company with which you have connected. 
  4. A better idea on your professional opportunities
  5. Confidence in dealing with employers' representatives.
