Invitation of Workshop

ASUE Foreign Relations Division  informs  that the American University of Armenia (AUA) and the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA) are hosting a workshop on “Sustainable Development: Theory and Implementation Methods.” The workshop will be led by Prof. dr. hab. Jurgis Staniškis and Prof. dr. Eglė Staniškienė of the Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania). The workshop, to be held from November 14-17, 2017, 14:00-17:30, will cover a range of topics including definition, principles and challenges of sustainable development, the science of sustainability, methods of implementation of sustainable economic development (including circular economy, environmental management systems, eco-design, life-cycle assessment, and sustainable consumption), and sustainability education. The workshops will include lectures and group activities.

Participation is free of charge. Prior registration is required.
