Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda. The participants role-play as diplomats representing a UN Member State in a simulated session of the United Nations. Participants do research about assigned country and topic, take on roles as diplomats, debate international issues, negotiate, deliberate, consult, and then develop joint solutions to world and regional problems.
