UN Forum at ASUE

 On 1 January, 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development—adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at an historic UN Summit — officially came into force. 

While the SDGs are not legally binding, governments are expected to take ownership and establish national frameworks for the achievement of the 17 Goals. (goo.gl/z1iogm).

UN Office in Armenia and “AIESEC Armenia” NGO joint with Yerevan State Linguastic University, European Regional Educational Academy, Eurasia International University, Armenian-Slavonic University, Armenian State University of Economics, Armenian State Pedagogical University initiated  a series of forum on “Youth for Sustainable Development”, which involves 7 forums in Armenian leading Universities.

The meeting at Armenian State University of Economics will be held on October 26, at 14:00, in the Hall of Center for International Programs.
