Conference Entitled “Institutions, Governance and Regional Development” will be Hosted at ASUE

Caucasus Association of Regional Science announces a “Conference on Institutions, Governance and Regional Development” to take place in Yerevan, Armenia, on September 5-6, 2019. The conference sessions will take place at Armenian State University of Economics.

On September 5, the opening ceremony of the conference will be hosted at ASUE Big Hall at 10:00.

This conference is aimed at providing a scientific platform for academics and young researchers interested in spatial economics and planning, regional and local development and related issues, which opens an unique opportunity of networking and exchanging ideas on ongoing research in the field.

The key topics of the conference are: Smart cities in the innovation age, Smart Cities: Governing, Modelling and Analysing the Transition, Urban and Regional Planning Models and GIS, Quality and Inequality in Urban and Regional Systems, Creative Capital, Information and Communication Technologies, and Economic Growth in Smart Cities, Modeling Regional Growth and Innovation, The Future of the New Urban World.

Keynote speakers of the Conference are: Mr. Peter Nijkamp (Vrije Universiteit, Netherlands); Ms. Karima Kourtit (Vrije Universiteit, Netherlands); Mr. Roberto Camagni (Politecnico di Milano,Italy); Mr. Tomaz Dentinho (University of Azores,Portugal), Zoya Tadevosyan (ASUE), Atom Margaryan (ASUE), Ruben Hayrapetyan (ASUE), Vahe Bulanikyan (ASUE), Narek Kesoyan (ASUE) and Albert Hayrapetyan (ASUE).
