Opening Ceremony of Annual Meetings of Armenian Economic Association at ASUE

Dear representatives of ASUE academic staff, collaborators, students,

you are invited to the annual meeting of the Armenian Economic Association to be held at Armenian State University of Economics on June 27, 2019, at 13:00.

Ruben Hayrapetyan, ASUE acting Rector, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, and Gurgen Aslanyan, Chairman of the Armenian Economic Association, will make opening remarks.

Reports will be presented after opening ceremony, the keynote speaker is Professor Friedrich Heinemann (ZEW Mannheim). Scientists from different universities of the World will present reports, then the conference will continue in panel discussion format entitled "Why Important Economics Education?" Key topics such as trade integration and economic growth, trade in information technologies and changes in the demand for occupations, labor market discrimination and the macroeconomy, etc. will be touched upon during the panel discussions. Ruben Hayrapetyan, ASUE acting Rector, Tigran Jrbashyan, the Development Director and Member of the Management Board at AmeriaBank CJSC, Vardan Urutyan, Rector of the Armenian National Agrarian University, Vache Gabrielyan, Dean of the Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics (CBE), Randall K. Filer, Professor of Economics at Hunter College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, Prof. Dr. Friedrich Heinemann, ZEW – Leibniz-Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim, will participate in panel discussions.

The three-day-meeting will be hosted at Armenian National Agrarian University and American University of Armenia.

The event will be held at ASUE Big Hall.
