Workshop Invitation
The aim of the workshop is to transfer to the local research institutes’ and small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs) representatives the European expertise of commercialization of researches, aimed at satisfying the needs of SMEs. The workshop is organized by the Armenian State University of Economics with the support of CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute.
The workshop attendees can be:
- the management staff of research institutes,
- researchers,
- representatives of academic institutions,
- representatives of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The speakers of the workshop will be experts from the following European universities:
- Technical University of Kosice (Slovakia) (www.tuke.sk)
- Silesian University of Technology (Poland) (www.polsl.pl)
- Masaryk University (Czech Republic) (www.muni.cz)
As a result of the workshop:
- research institutes’ representatives will gain knowledge on how to effectively organize the process of commercialization of knowledge/technology,
- SME representatives - knowledge of why and how to cooperate with research institutes and academic institutions, which will contribute to a more competitive position in the market for them.

The aim of the “Transferring V4 expertise in knowledge/technology transfer” project is to promote the culture of enterprise-research infrastructure cooperation in Armenia and Georgia, based on the successful experience of the Visegrad partner countries. The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
