Chair of Microeconomics and Organization of Entrepreneurial Activities of ASUE was established in 1975 since the establishment of Yerevan Institute of National Economy (previously called Chair of Organization and Planning of Industrial Production). Since April, 2021, the Chair was renamed to Microeconomics.

Researches

Within previous years the Faculty of the Chair has published manuals in Armenian and Russian, among them: manuals “Microeconomics”, “Organization of Entrepreneurial Activity”, dozens of articles, a number of scientific seminars have been organized on modern issues related to the Republic's economy. Recently, "Tntesaget" publishing house published the materials of lectures entitled “Fundamentals of Microeconomics” authored by PhD in Economics, Assistant Professor A. Arakelyan's .

In the 2016-2017 academic year, the Chair introduced a new specialty – “Service” curriculum and 33 subject curricula.

In 2019 Bachelor’s Degree Program - “Organization of Entrepreneurial”, has been developed and approved by the Chair.

In 2020 Master's degree educational programs "Public Service Business Organization and Management" and "Industrial Business Organization and Management" have been developed and approved by the Chair.
