Another 16 Hospital Managers Were Awarded Professional Training Certificates
On November 5, "Hospital Management" course organized jointly by the Armenian State University of Economics and the National Medical Chamber was summed up at ASUE. The 16 participants who successfully completed the three-month course were awarded graduation certificates, as well as 54 theoretical and 9 practical credits for continuous professional development. The short-term training, which started in May and ended in July, was conducted by highly qualified specialists in the field of healthcare in Armenia.
ASUE Lifelong Learning Division noted that the course was intended for healthcare organizers and managers. The participants of the regular short-term training course are mainly doctors, heads of medical organizations and their subdivisions, senior medical workers, non-medical management staff of medical organizations.
During the training, the participants learned how to manage different processes of a medical organization.
Welcoming the participants of the training, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan expressed confidence that the program will contribute to the healthcare sector management. Each sector needs managers ready for change, armed with advanced knowledge, new skills.
"Today we can assure that the University of Economics has set a high standard in the field of healthcare management, strengthening its position. Considering the current situation of the spread of the epidemic, we have a serious problem in the field of health management, the presence of highly qualified specialists will only benefit the field. You are the fifth generation of this course, who are awarded the certificates of healthcare organizers and managers. I hope that from now on you will use the knowledge and skills you have acquired for the benefit of public health"; ASUE Rector mentioned.
Thanking ASUE Rector for the partnership and hospitality, the President of the National Medical Chamber Narek Vanesyan stressed that the training of effective managers of medical organizations in the healthcare system continues to be a problem and this initiative, implemented through joint efforts with ASUE, is a wonderful stimulus in terms of having knowledgeable and progressive staff in the field.
