New System of ASUE Admission Process
ASUE launches a new system of queue management of the computerized exams of pan-university courses, which is unprecedented not only for our University, but also for the other higher education institutions of Armenia. The system launches since April 6 during the intermediate exams of full-time Bachelor’s degree 2nd and 3rd year students.
Today, Koryun Atoyan, ASUE Rector, Professor, visited examination rooms to get acquainted with the invested system and the process. About 100 students passed exams of marketing and accounting courses. The Rector wondered how students refer to new system.
Samvel Hovhannisyan, Director of ASUE Center of Information Technologies, told ASUE Media and Public Relations Division that due to investment of modern terminals it’s possible to provide distribution of 150 students simultaneously in 5 examination rooms only in 5 minutes, which regulates the examination process very quickly.
Aghavni Hakobyan, Head of Education Division, mentioned that operation of the system increased the efficiency of examinations, the process has become much more organized. Aghavni Hakobyan also assured that tests of pan-university courses had been upgraded, supplementing with new issues and tasks. She assured that the Education Division joint with Center of Information Technologies will go on working on increasing efficiency of the examination process.
