The international conference "Economic Development Priorities and Challenges" has started at ASUE

On May 11, the 19th international two-day conference of ASECU (Association of Economic Universities of Southeast Europe and the Black Sea Region) entitled "Economic Development Priorities and Challenges" opened at the Armenian State University of Economics.

ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan, ASECU President Grigoris Zarotiadis, ASECU Presidium Member Oleg Bodyagin, ASUE Vice-rector for Science Tatul Mkrtchyan, conference plenary session moderator Tatevik Vardanyan, 30 foreign guests, scientists from Germany, Russia, Greece, Bulgaria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Latvia, Moldova, Malta, Romania, as well as international scientists, economists, and ASUE scientist-pedagogues were present at the official opening ceremony of the conference.

Welcoming the organizers and participants of the conference, Diana Galoyan underlined the importance of large-scale events, especially from the standpoint of the scientific progress, development of economic thought, improvement of research activities, adaptation of international experience and economic reforms.

"We are delighted to host this conference that assures that the only State University of Economics in Armenia, where the best specialists in economics are being educated and trained, has an active role and involvement in international scientific and educational initiatives. Thank you for the invaluable support and cooperation," Diana Galoyan pointed out.

The papers presented and introduced at the conference will be published in the proceedings of the conference under the ISBN international standard that will be available on the official websites of ASECU and ASUE.
