Training course on ecotourism at ASUE

On September 12 and 13, training course on ecotourism was held at ASUE, and the students majoring "Tourism" at ASUE, students from other universities and colleges, as well as professors, tour guides, representatives of tour operators, founders of guest houses, representatives of state administration bodies, and people interested in tourism were present.

Zhanna Galyan spoke about the nature and importance of ecotourism and sustainable tourism, the application of ecotourism as business, the certification of sustainable tourism as well. Gayane Tovmasyan introduced the importance of research carried out in the field of tourism and spoke about the main practices used in the process. Within the frames of the training course, discussion on the issues of tourism and ecotourism development in Armenia was held.

At the end of the course, participants received certificates, as well as issues of "Amberd" newsletter.
