ASUE took part in the first winter games of European universities

On December 17-22, the first winter games of European universities took place in Val di Zoldo (Italy) and teams from 27 universities representing 16 European countries took part in it. The championship comprised skiing, snowboarding and winter volleyball.

The Armenian delegation took part only in the downhill skiing championship winning a bronze medal. Head of the delegation, Head of ASUE Chair of Physical Education, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, President of the Student Sports Federation Hovhannes Gabrielyan informed that Zhirayr Arakelyan, student of ASUE Faculty of Finance, was part of the team.

The Armenian State University of Economics supported the Armenian delegation as well. Today, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan had a meeting with Hovhannes Gabrielyan and Zhirayr Arakelyan, congratulated them on this important occasion and success, pointing out: "Our students always achieve successes in sports in national and international championships”.

Hovhannes Gabrielyan expressed his gratitude to the leader of the university for her support.
