Guest Lectures at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University
Albert Hayrapetyan, a senior lecturer in the Department of International Economic Relations at ASTU and a candidate in economics, delivered lectures at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi, Romania, from May 27 to 31 as part of the "Erasmus+" program. His lectures focused on economic integration, regional integration organizations, and methods for preliminary assessment of economic integration effectiveness. These sessions were followed by lively Q&A periods where students from various countries asked questions about Armenia and its economic situation. Beyond student engagement, Hayrapetyan held productive discussions with faculty members to enhance academic cooperation between the two universities.
During his visit, Hayrapetyan met Professor Goran Ilik, vice-rector for science at St. Kliment Ohridski University of Bitola in North Macedonia, who expressed interest in collaborating with ASTU. This meeting resulted in a memorandum of understanding between the two universities, which outlines several collaborative initiatives, including staff and student exchanges, joint research projects, and staff training programs.
