February 21 is celebrated as Native Language Day that has been celebrated since 2000 as an international day for the recognition and encouragement of the use of native languages, according to the decision of UNESCO. The International Native Language Day has been celebrated in Armenia since 2005 as well, thus providing an opportunity for all of us to value and express gratitude to our native language.

We would like the Armenian language to stay forever, become enriched, and strengthen the national image and identity of the Armenians, passing on the centuries-old heritage of the Armenian people, their history and culture.
