USEFUL RESOURCE FOR STUDENTS: BANKS' UNION OF ARMENIA PRESENTED UBAnk E-LIBRARY IN OUR UNIVERSITY

Seyran  Sargsyan,  the  President  of  Banks'  Union  of  Armenia,  and  Ani  Palazyan,  a  specialist  in  Researches  and  Projects  Division,  analyst,  presented  the  UBAnk  e-library,  created  due  to the  joint  financing  of  USAID  in  the  cooperation  circle  with  "Financial  Stability  Partners"  program.

"The  creation  of  this  library  is  a  progress  step  on the  way  of  preparing  high-level  specialists.  This  is  the  pipe,  from  which  our  students,  as  well as  specialists,  studying  finance  and  bank  fields,  can  make  use  of",  giving  importance  to  the  creation  of  USAnk  e-library,  said  Gagik  Vardanyan,  ASUE  Vice-Rector  of  Science  and  International  Relations,  noting  that  it  is  urgent especialy  today, when  ASUE  must  implement  Master  program  with  Bnaks'  Union  of  Armenia, preparing  best  specialists  of  the  field.

"On  the  way  of  preparing  best  specialist  our  Union  understands  that  there  is  a  lack  of  professional  literature.  For  filling  it  we  have  obtained  nearly  70  books'  copyright  from  famous  publishers  and  have undertaken  the  creation  work  of  website",  referring  to  the  history  of  creating   library,  said  Seyran  Sargsyan,  the  President  of  Banks'  Union  of  Armenia.  He  presented  that  professional  and  modern  literature  of   banking,  international  finance,  investments  and  securities'  market,  finance  management  fields  had  been     involved  in  UBAnk  library. Two  of  underlined  books  have  already  been  translated  into Armenian.  The  speaker  said  that  the  library  will  be  supplemented  with  new  famous  books,  analytical  materials  concerning  systems  of  finance  and  banking,  magazines,  newspapers,  periodics  year  after  year.  Referring  to  the  technical  solution  of  the  librry,  Sergey  Sargsyan  mentioned  that  the   protection  of  books'  copyrights  is  fully  provided.

Ani  Palazyan,  specialist  in  Banks'  Union  of  Armenia  Researches  and  Projects  Division,  presented  the  structure  of  the  UBAnk  e-library's  website.  She  informed  that  everybody  can  use  the  website,  visiting  www.e-library.uba.am.   Active  search  system  allows  to  search,  to  find  and  to  read  the  materials   easily.

At  the  end  those  who  were  present  recieved  their  answers  to  questions.
