Ambassador of the Czech Republic has visited ASUE: issues of promoting university cooperation were discussed

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Petr Pirunchik and Deputy Ambassador Sabina Novakova were hosted at the Armenian State University of Economics by Rector Diana Galoyan and Director of External Relations Department Lusine Danielyan. Issues of promoting partner relations between the universities of the two countries and implementing joint and beneficial projects in higher education were on the agenda of this meeting.

Welcoming the high-ranking guest, Diana Galoyan addressed the activities of the University of Economics, underlined the fact that ASUE is a competitive university and dynamically responds to modern challenges in education, and here the best economists of RA are being prepared.

"Potential of the university, its highly experienced and skilled academic staff allow us to set high yardsticks for the organization of education-related activities, to educate and shape economists that will take on the responsibility when facing current economic challenges," the rector pointed out.

The ambassador underlined that he is willing to support ASUE in the process of cooperation with Czech universities of economics to find new partners. "We are mutually interested in the expansion of the scope of cooperation between the universities of the two countries in international mobility programs. My visit to the University of Economics is to underline the prerequisites for the promotion of cooperation between Armenian and Czech universities," the ambassador pointed out.

The parties observed some common areas of cooperation and opportunities for joint research during productive discussions.

At the end of the meeting, the guests had a tour around the university.
