The Results of the Competition on "Comparative Analysis of Environmental Policies of the RA Airlines" were Summed Up

In February, 2020, the Chair of Environmental Economics at ASUE, AMBERD research center and FLAWLESS Corporation announced a competition on “Comparative Analysis of Environmental Policies of the RA Airlines”, which were postponed caused by the coronavirus and state of emergency.

Today, the competition was summed up with the presentation of reports, which was attended by ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan, Director of AMBERD research center Davit Hakhverdyan, Vice-Rector for Science Tatul Mkrtchyan, Head of the Chair of Environmental Economics Gagik Aghajanyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of International Economics Relations Anna Pakhlyan.

Tatevik Revazyan, Chairman of the RA Civil Aviation Committee (Chairman of the Competition Committee), Narek Mkhitaryan, Head of the Internal Audit Department of the Committee, Alexander Margaryan, Chairman of the FLAWLESS Corporation (USA) (sponsor of the competition), Grigor Nazaryan, acting Head of the Chair of International Economic Relations, lecturers at the Chair of Environmental Economics joint the presentation on ZOOM platform.

ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan welcomed the attendees.

The authors of the study kindly answered the questions of the University Leadership, the Head of the Civil Aviation and representative, the Chairman of the FLAWLESS Corporation. The latter highly assessed the thematic selection of the performed analyzes, the argumentation, the suggestions.

During a short break, the Competition Committee summed up the results.

Davit Hakhverdyan informed that, according to the selected criteria, the presented analyzes and the presentation was evaluated by all the members of the Committee, and Hayk Kalantaryan has won.

At the end of the presentation Gagik Aghajanyan informed that the awards will be presented in May, when Alexander Margaryan will arrive in Armenia, and the participants, at the suggestion of Tatevik Revazyan, will have the opportunity to conduct a long-term internship in the RA Civil Aviation Committee.
