The Chair teaches "Introduction to Economics", "Introduction to Microeconomics", "Introduction to Macroeconomics" and "Macroeconomics-1" in all specialties of ASEU in full-time and part-time forms of study at the 1st and 2nd years. Within the framework of these programs, students get acquainted with the basic concepts of economics, methods and principles of scientific research, transformations of economic systems and their institutions, the mechanisms of the functioning of markets, the problems of the interdependence of the public and private sectors, tools of monetary and fiscal policy.

The Chair also carries out a Master's degree program by "Economics" specialty.

Publications

Over the past five years, the faculty of the Chair has published 1 textbook "Theory of Economics" (part 2), 6 scientific monographs, 6 educational and methodological works, about 160 scientific articles, 40 of which are in international journals, 26 conference materials.

In general, the staff of the Chair publishes about 30 scientific works per year.
