Scientific Council session has been held

On May 31, the session of the Scientific Council of the University of Economics was held, chaired by the ASUE Rector, the President of the Scientific Council, Diana Galoyan.

The Scientific Council approved the composition of ASUE ethics committee as the first item of the agenda, and its regulations and work procedures were approved at the previous session.

Dean of the Faculty of Marketing and Business Administration Narek Kesoyan introduced the operations of the faculty for 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic years.

The Scientific Council has held competitions to award scientific titles of an associate professor, which were introduced by Rector Diana Galoyan and the Chairman of the Competition Committee, Doctor, Professor, Honorary Head of ASUE Chair Aram Sargsyan. In a secret ballot voting, academic titles of associate professor were awarded to the professor assistant of the Chair of Languages, Ph.D. Lilit Hakobyan and lecturer of the Chair of Management Accounting and Audit, Ph.D. Gullo Arabyan.

Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Armen Grigoryan introduced the revised and newly designed full-time education curricula in the specialties “Management”, “Information systems”, “Actuarial and financial mathematics”, “Applied statistics and data science”, “Accounting and taxation” followed by discussion.

Vice-rector for Science Tatul Mkrtchyan introduced relevant topics concerning publication of methodical and academic works as well as activities of Amberd Research Center.
