"Amberd" Series Releases 73rd Issue Online
The latest, 73rd issue of the "Amberd" series "Ways to Increase Productivity and Overcome Barriers in the Industrial Sector in Armenia," is now available on the official ASUE website.
The study was conducted by a team led by Sos Khachikyan, with team members Gayane Avagyan, Knarik Vardanyan, Garik Petrosyan, Aida Mirumyan, Satenik Gevorgyan, and Silvi Stepanyan.
The research explores the structural specifics of Armenia's industrial sector, identifies key factors hindering its dynamic development, assesses the effectiveness of policies aimed at boosting productivity, and outlines priorities for industry growth, modernization opportunities, and digital transformation prospects.
The study identifies factors that influence productivity growth, production, and export volumes within Armenia's industrial sector, using econometric models to measure the impact and significance of these factors. Additionally, the analysis evaluates how structural economic changes affect GDP, identifying potential improvements in economic security through digitalization and the development of new communication and transport infrastructure.
Based on the analyses and evaluations, the research diagnoses prominent issues hampering productivity in Armenia's industrial sector and presents conceptual new approaches for enhancing productivity in the context of economic modernization, digital transformations, and the establishment of a new collaboration framework.
