AMBERD Expert Discusses Climate Change Impact on RA Agriculture at International Conference

On October 29-31, Armenian National Agrarian University hosted the 4th Eurasian International Conference on Food Safety, attended by Samvel Avetisyan, Senior Expert of AMBERD research center, Doctor of Sciences, Professor and reported on “Climate Change and RA Agriculture”.

The professor touched upon the manifestations of climate change from the Great Flood to our days and the possible changes in the agriculture of Armenia by forecasts of 2030, 2050, 2100.

The conference was organized by Armenian National Agrarian University, the Eurasian Food Safety Center, the International Center for Food Policy Research, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the International Center for Agricultural Research (ICAEDA), scientists from about four dozen countries participated in it.
