Representative of AMBERD Attended Warsaw International Scientific and Educational Program

July 7-17, 2019, Dr. Vardan Atoyan - Deputy Director-Senior Expert of AMBERD Research Center attended Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy-WEASA. As Vardan Atoyan noted in an interview with ASUE Media and Public Relations Division, the organizers of the international scientific and educational program were College of Europe, German Marshall Fund of the United States and Polish-American Freedom Foundation. Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission supported the event to be held. The participants of the international program, whose geography included more than 10 European countries, were selected on a competitive basis.

Representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, the academic sphere and civil society were among the participants. The scientific and educational program included lectures conducted by leading internationally renowned experts, theoretical and practical classes, thematic and sectoral discussions on human and technology relations, fake news, artificial intelligence and algorithms, the main tasks of social media, modern journalism, open source research, personal data protection and digital security.
