Ruben Hayrapetyan Hosted Gold and Silver Medal Winners of European University Chess Championship

July 24-29, Tigran Harutyunyan and Tigran Petrosyan, delegates of Armenian State University of Economics, won gold and silver medals in European University Chess Championship held in Budapest, Hungary. Today, Ruben Hayrapetyan hosted student-athletes accompanied by Hovhannes Gabrielyan, Head of the Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situation and Civil Defense, Secretary General of the Armenian Student Sport Federation.

Welcoming and congratulating the athletes on such an important victory, the University Head emphasized the importance of ASUE students' participation in sport events. “Your successes are extremely important. Your victories do not only maintain the reputation of our University, but also show how competitive you are in the world. I congratulate you once again and hope that you will not only maintain your achievements, but also have greater victories in the future”; Ruben Hayrapetyan stated and noted that the University Leadership is ready to support and encourage students.
