Development Problems of Small and Medium Business were Discussed at ASUE
Today, the 2nd scientific seminar on the scientific and research topics of the Chairs was held at the University of Economics. The Chair of Microeconomics and Organization of Entrepreneurial Activities at ASUE reported on “Development Problems of Small and Medium Business in the RA”, which was attended by guests, representatives of ASUE and the Chair academic staff, Deans, Heads of Chairs, collaborators.
Diana Galoyan made opening remarks, welcoming the attendees and noting, that this format of discussing scientific topics was very useful, as new data was presented, the current issues were touched upon.
Mikayel Melkumyan, Head of the Chair, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, presented the topic, emphasized that even official data show that despite the efforts invested in our country, big business is growing, which means that the development problems of small and medium business are still up to date, so they are studied by the Chair.
Then Arthur Arakelyan, Assistant Professor at the Chair, reported on “Small and Medium Business: Present and Future” and Mariam Titizyan, PhD student of the Chair, reported on “Free Economic Zones in the Eurasian Economic Union”.
