ASUE representative participated in "Innovative Libraries -2018" workshop

On November 1-2, "Innovative Libraries -2018" Workshop initiated by the US Embassy's Information Resource Center was held in Writers' House of Tsaghkadzor. ASUE Library Director Armine Hovhannisyan participated in the workshop. The issues related to the new role of libraries in the era of information technologies and options for new services were discussed at the annual event for public and university librarians. The creation of new libraries, design and digitization programs and practical ways of using them, practical methods of modernizing libraries were presented to the participants. Armine Hovhannisyan noted that the professional discussion was quite effective. Among the special guests of the workshop were the head of the US Embassy’s Public Relations Department Rob Andersen and Acting Deputy Minister of Culture Vahe Budumyan.
