ASUE Scientist participated in the International educational program in Moscow

Vardan Atoyan, Doctor of Sciences (Political Science), Deputy Director-Senior Expert of AMBERD Research Center, participated in International educational program "BRICS School" in Moscow, Russia on August 27-31. It was organized by the Russian National Committee on BRICS Research together with the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund. Vardan Atoyan noted that more than 250 participants applied for this prestigious event and only 35 of them passed the competitive stage, 30 of which were from BRICS member countries (Brazil - 5, RF - 10, India - 5, China - 5, South Africa - 5). 5 representatives from non BRICS member countries (Israel, Armenia, France, Ukraine, Serbia) also passed the competitive stage.

Vardan Atoyan mentioned, that the aim of the event was to train specialists in the field of research on cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian and other areas of BRICS member countries. Famous foreign scientists, leading experts and high-ranking officials delivered lectures within the frames of training. Analytical «brain storms» and discussions were also organized.
