ASUE student-chess players will participate in the 5th European University Games

On July 17-30, ASUE will be presented by its chess team at the 5th European University Games to be held in Lodz, Poland, represented by the student in his fourth year at the Faculty of Accounting and Audit Janik Ghulyan and the freshman of the Faculty of Management Ararat Muradyan.

6000 delegates from 400 universities of 43 countries will take part in the European University Games. Our chess players had success in 2019 when the ASUE chess team took the 2nd place in team games, and Grandmaster Tigran Harutyunyan took the first prize in the individual game. ASUE futsal team has participated in European Games three times.

Delegation of Armenia represented by student sportsmen from Yerevan State Medical University and Armenian State Institute Physical Culture and Sport will be headed by Hovhannes Gabrielyan, head of the Chair of Physical Education, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of ASUE, President of the Armenian Student Sports Federation.
