Vardan Atoyan Lectured on “China: Economy and Politics”

Today, Dr. Vardan Atoyan - Deputy Director-Senior Expert of AMBERD Research Center, made a comprehensive analytical review about one of the cradles of civilization - China's economy and politics, for the 1st year students of economics specialty. Anush Ananyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of International Economic Relations, invited him to deliver a lecture of “Economic History” course.

Dr. Vardan Atoyan presented the history of the People's Republic of China: from its formation to nowadays, covered the trends in economic development, important issues related to economic and political interconnection.

“Students get acquainted with the economies of the leading countries after World War II and for presenting China’s topic, I have specifically invited Dr. Vardan Atoyan, who contributes Armenian-Chinese relations strengthening. Indeed, the lecture was filled with interesting comments, with particular emphasis on China's economic peculiarities, especially the predictions, according to which China will become the World's 1st superpower in 2050 was remarkable”; Anush Ananayna stated.
