Developing Internationally Competitive Programs: Discussion on Internationalization of the University

Today, International Relations Division invited representatives of academic staff to discuss the details of applying for international grant programs. Our colleagues from Gyumri and those responsible for international relations also attended the meeting, hosted by Diana Galoyan, ASUE acting Rector, Vard Ghukasyan, Head of International Relations Division, Arpine Jraghatspanyan, Chief Specialist.

Welcoming the attendees Diana Galoyan emphasized that internationalization is a priority for the University, and in this context, it is important to consolidate the academic staff and jointly develop competitive international programs. At the same time, the Head of the University emphasized that both international educational, scientific and research programs are targeted.

Vard Ghukasyan and Arpine Jraghatspanyan introduced the international funds financing educational, academic, research programs: Erasmus+ KA2, Visegrad, Creative Spark, Horizon2020, Appear, Jean Monnet and more… they support the realization of ideas that are up-to-date on the challenges of education and science. By the way, ASUE is a member of many of the mentioned EU programs, it is planned to expand the scope of cooperation. International programs in which ASUE is involved were also presented.

A discussion on the mentioned issue was held, the participants exchanged their thoughts and experiences.
