Erasmus+: from dream to reality

A big group of students ready to overcome any challenge in order to realize their dreams has gathered at the Grand Hall of the University of Economics. ASUE bachelor and master students were here to get familiar with opportunities, terms and participation rules of international credit mobility ”Erasmus+” program.

This program is one direction of Erasmus+ program that is an opportunity for students and employees to study and gain experience in leading foreign universities.

Erasmus+ coordinator of ASUE International Relations Division Sona Aghababyan has introduced program application process, documentation, told how Erasmus has changed her life and students that were beneficiaries of the program in the past Vahe, Christina and Mariam introduced the future Erasmus participants how to write letters of motivation, advised to join Erasmus Student Network as well as presented opportunities to travel in Europe and find new friends and enthusiastically told about their own experience and study processes in foreign countries.

The event was finalized by the awards and prizes that were given to the winners of the previously announced competition as well as the most active participants were awarded the Certificates of Gratitude.

Arianna Maralyan has taken the 1st place in the category “The best Success Story” and Mariam Arzumanyan and Christine Khachatryan have taken the first place in the category “The best video”.

“The possibilities to study in foreign universities, to get training there and bring the leading experience back to Armenia that Erasmus+ program offers is extremely important to our students and academic staff. We strive to inform more and more students about the essence and opportunities of credit mobility programs” – head of International Relations Division Anzhelika Musayelyan has told us.

All students interested in Erasmus+ program but do not hold any certificates to prove their English language knowledge, can participate in English exam organized at ASUE on October 12 and 13.
