On May 15, over 70 employers representing diverse sectors of the economy and government agencies, alongside hundreds of job seekers, convened in the courtyard of the Armenian State University of Economics for the Job Fair. The event was attended by Ruben Sargsyan, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, who, accompanied by ASUE Acting Rector Armen Grigoryan, toured around the exhibition booths and engaged in discussions with both employers and fair attendees.

At the job fair, many state institutions and major private sector entities showcased their available positions and actively sought potential job candidates. Among the participants were commercial banks, insurance companies, credit institutions, educational institutions, accounting and audit firms, information technology enterprises, telecommunications companies, hotels, and representatives from various other sectors. Overall, they presented over 500 vacant positions.

Armen Grigoryan, the acting rector of ASUE, highlighted the significance of the fair, which has been held for the fourth consecutive year. He underlined that it is an excellent opportunity not only for the university's students but also for all individuals seeking employment.

RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ruben Sargsyan, further underlined the ongoing initiative by ASUE, which has evolved into a tradition. He emphasized that the Job Fair serves as an invaluable platform for students to find their initial employment while gaining insight into the expectations and criteria set forth by employers.

According to the representatives of the RA Ministry of Finance, their primary objective is to engage young personnel in the work processes.

It is beneficial to witness the high level of interest garnered by our initiative directed towards enhancing the university-employer linkage.
