“Project Management” Master’s Degree Program at the Polytechnic University of Valencia
Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) and Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV, Spain) according to the trilateral cooperation agreement signed on April 4, 2017 and ASUE and NUACA agreement signed on September 7, 2017, carries out “Project Management” (in the spheres of tourism, cultural heritage management and geo-information systems) joint Master’s degree program, implemented from the 2017-2018 academic year. The idea of elaborating and implementing educational programs, which implies knowledge and skills in combination with knowledge of economics and management has formed within the framework of EU “Erasmus +” Education Interdisciplinary Reform in Tourism Management and Applied Geo-information curricula (“HERITAG”, №561555-EPP-1-2015-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) project. The "Project Management" joint educational program provides one-year study in the Armenian universities and UPV with the opportunity to practice at the Rimini branch of the Bologna University (Italy). The students of the Master's degree program will be awarded with the diplomas of both Armenian Universities and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
On November 19, the vice-rector of UPV Jose Milei and "HERITAG" project coordinator Luis Fernandez launched the "Project Management" joint educational program at Polytechnic University of Valencia. ASUE vice-rector on Educational-Methodological Matters Paruyr Kalantaryan and the head of the ASUE Quality Assuarance Division, coordinator of "Project Management" joint educational program Nerses Gevorgyan attended the official opening ceremony of the educational program. 11 students will study the "Project Management" educational program in the 2018-2019 academic year. They will get the Master's Degree in Geo-information Management for Cultural Tourism. The details are available here.
