The 3rd Anniversary of “1st Student Channel” with a Solemn Ceremony
Three years ago the first Student Channel in Armenia was created by ASUE Student Council’s efforts, the start of which was solemnly given.
Today, the event dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of the “1st Student Channel” joined together Koryun Atoyan, ASUE Rector, Professor, Karen Avagyan, Coordinator of Board of Trustees Youth Foundation of Armenia, RA Member of Parliament, Vice Rectors of the University, Deans, representatives of Faculty, SC members and students.
From news of University life to publication of interesting programs - a video summarizing the activity of the SC during these years was screened, underlining that in a short period of time, the Channel became an informative resource for University members and ensured its audience by broadcasting "The Reader", "Naming", "Open Dialog", "Economix" and other programs. It is noteworthy that the Channel’s workers are students, who have also become authors of a number of films.
Hayk Grigoryan, President of SC Committee of Press and Media, presented two novelties to the event participants, the 1st Student Information App, which enables you to follow the news coverage of the SC activities and the “Mentor” motivating program, the premiere of which was held today. The guest of the 1st program was the favorite musician-performer Aram MP 3, who presented his formula of success.
Then ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan congratulated the students. "The first Student Channel has become an inseparable part of our University's student life and everyday life. It introduces University student events, refers to the success of our students, and comes up with new initiatives. The 1st Student Channel refers not only student life of our University, but also republican important student events and successes, being the first one in this format, which is a joyful reality”; stated the Rector and promised to donate new equipment on the anniversary of the Student Channel.
Karen Avagyan praised the ASUE members for their initiative, creativity and diligence and promised the working team replenishment with technical equipment.
Alex Hovhannisyan, President of the Student Council of the Medical University also congratulated ASUE students.
At the end of the event, Hovhannes Harutyunyan, President of ASUE SC, awarded letters of appreciation to the students who made a great contribution to the creation of the 1st Student Channel, and then awarded special prizes to Sergey Kharatyan, the former President of the SC, now the Director of ASUE Financial and Economic College, and Hayk Bejanyan, the former President of the SC Committee of Press and Media, for the great support in the creation of the Channel.
