Promising Start of Interuniversity Scientific Cooperation: Seminar at ASUE

The  activity and analyses of ASUE  “AMBERD”  Research Center published in ASUE official website are under attention of Armenian Universities. After  getting familiar to those publications  a group of students  of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan and Varduhi Hovhannisyan, lecturer of  “Homeland Science and Tourism” course have appealed  to “AMBERD” Center suggesting to  hold a seminar on "Role of Tourism in the Economy of the RA". The response of ASUE researchers was not late: the meeting took place today.

Samvel Avetisyan,Senior Researcher of  "Economic Research" Research Program of "AMBERD", Program Coordinator, Doctor of Sciences /Economics/, Professor, welcomed  the  guests and expressed hope, that the  seminar  would be conducted in an atmosphere of discussion.

Gayane Tovmasyan, researcher of the  same program, PhD in Economics, reported  on “Role of Tourism in the Economy of the RA: Development Issues” analyzing the current state of tourism,  socio-economic, cultural and environmental significance, correlation connections between tourism and other economic indicators.

Astghik Hovhannisyan, Junior Researcher of "Research of Educational Process and Technologies"  Research Program, was the  second one to report on registration process of statistics in tourism sector.

The  event  was  a new and promising start of interuniversity scientific cooperation.
