"They say that the world is ruled by numbers, no, they only show how to rule the world." Wolfgang Goethe.

October 20 was declared a World Statistics Day by the decision of UN in 2010. One of the first commissions established by the United Nations in 1947 was the Statistical Commission, which played a decisive role in the organization of statistics at the global level. Experts say that if there was no statistics, there would be no assessments on what direction they are going, where are the problems, shortcomings and achievements. In short, statistics is everywhere. Our University is the only higher education institution in our country that prepares future professional statisticians. Today is the professional holiday of Armenian statisticians as well.

We heartily congratulate all the lecturers and students.
