"The Department remains at its’ height": the students of the Department of Computer Science and Statistics were defending Master's theses

Today the graduate students of the Department of Computer Science and Statistics were defending Master's theses.  After the defense some of the students expressed appreciation for the work of the certification committee and mentioned that the exam atmosphere was not tensed, which allowed to express freely. "It is good that the committee raises some issues during the defense and not at the end. We expect high scores", said the students.

The president of the mentioned certification committee is Makich Khcheyan, the head of the Division of Internal audit of the RA Ministry of Finance. The president told us that the
process of the defense had a proper level, the topics were interesting and the results were high.  

The dean of the Department of Statistics and Information Processing  Manuk Movsisyan also described the results as satisfying

"So far the results of defenses (both for master's degree, and bachelors) were quite high. Most of the students got high scores,” said the dean adding that most of the graduate students of the Department work in their profession and record success.

Note that final certification exams in this Department will also be held on May 26 and 27.
