Cognitive Visit to the UN Office in Armenia

On November 23, Assistant Professors  of  the Chair of International Economic Relations Kristine Yeghaizaryan  and PhD in Economics Lusine Aghajanyan initiated a cognitive visit of the  3rd year students of the  same specialty to the  UN Office in Armenia. The  visit was supported by Gagik Vardanyan, Vice Rector  of Science and International Relations.

Armine Halajyan,  UN Department of Public Information Officer, presented an updated Armenian version of the "Basic Facts about the UN" publication, stating that UN Agencies, Programs and Departments in Armenia work closely with the Government of the Republic of Armenia and other partners for the realization of Armenia's national goals. The Sustainable Development Program has been presented in detail, noting that it has 3 pillars: social development, economic growth and environmental protection.

Students are greatly satisfied with the visit and expressed gratitude for such initiatives.

P.S. It’s  already several years that Armenian State University of Economics has been cooperating effectively with the UN Department of Public Information.
