The Report of “Financial Service Accessibility” Scientific and Educational Group Took Place

The second interim report of “Financial Service Accessibility” scientific and educational group took place today in the Center of International Programs. Vice Rector of Science and International Relations Mr. Gagik Vardanyan, director of “Amberd” Research Center Mr. Samvel Avetisyan, representatives of ASUE scientific stuff and students were present at the meeting.

Professor G. Vardanyan welcomed the participants, noting that “Financial Service Accessibility” scientific and educational group is the only international group and the commitment of ASUE Syrian students to research is very commendable.

The head of the Research Group associate professor Mr. Khoren Mkhitaryan presented the research process and current results. He stressed out that the Syrian postgraduates were studying the Syrian financial sector in pre-war and post-war period.

A member of Research Group Associate Professor Aghavni Hakobyan delivered a report on "SWOT Analysis of RA Financial Service Accessibility". The report mainly referred to the composition of financial services, strengths of RA financial services accessibility and financial services accessibility of EAEU member states. Weaknesses, opportunities and threats of RA financial services accessibility were also pointed out.

Post-graduate students Mahmoud Adela and Shadi Jendin delivered reports on "Financial services accessibility of state and non-state commercial banks of Syrian Arab Republic" and "The specifications of Islamic banking system in terms of financial services accessibility" respectively.


The representatives of ASUE scientific stuff expressed satisfaction with the group's report. A wide discussion took place and the speakers came up with explanations.
