SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR IN “AMBERD”: “ASSESSMENT OF ECONOMIC GROWTH IMPACTS ON POVERTY LEVEL”
Today, a scientific seminar entitled “Assessment of economic growth impacts on poverty level” was held within the framework of “The Assessment and Prediction of Priorities of Economic Development in the RA”.
The speaker of the seminar was a member of research group, Candidate in Economics, Associate Professor, Yelena Manukyan. The latter spoke about economic growth of the RA in 2008-2012, growth of property level in 2012 comparing with 2008, presented assessment of flexibility coefficient of poverty over economic growth, etc.
The speaker referred to social impact of inflation in Armenia, presenting assessment priorities and predictions of economic development in the RA, showed the dynamics of consumer prices in 2010-2014, indicators of food inflation, energy structure of the food basket in Armenia and other data.
Research Group Facilitator is Ashot TAVADYAN, Head of the Chair of Mathematical Methods in Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
The final results of the program will be presented at the end of the year.
