PROFESSOR OF UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN WAS HOSTED AT “AMBERD”

Today, Director  of  Research Center of Social Sciences and  Armenian Studies   of  University  of  Michigan, Doctor  of Historical Sciences, Professor, Ara Sanjyan, was  hosted  at  “AMBERD”  Research  Center, Armenian State  University  of  Economics.

Director  of  “National Security Research” program,  Candidate  of  Economics, Vardan Atoyan, met  the  guest, presented activities,  programs  of “AMBERD”  Research Center.

Ara Sanjyan took a  tour  around the  Center,  got  acquainted with the  collaborators, then  presented  the activities, goals,  problems  of  Research Center of Social Sciences and  Armenian Studies   of  University  of  Michigan.  Speaking  about cooperation between scientists of  various   countries,  the  Professor attached   importance to publication of  articles  in international magazines.

Opportunities, prospects   for cooperation between two Universities (Armenian State  University  of Economics  and  University  of Michigan)  and  preliminary agreements have been acquired.

Vardan Atoyan donated Ara  Sanjyan  his authored  books and series of “AMBERD”  monographs.  The  Professor  expressed  hope  that he  would  be  hosted  at “AMBERD”  within  the  framework  of cooperation again  and  would  conduct  lectures.
