Achievements in Powerlifting: ASUE Members as Prize Winners

On November 6-8, Ministry of Sport  and Youth Affairs  of the  RA initiated republican interuniversity championship of powerlifting at Armenian State Institute  of  Physical Culture  and  Sport. Our  University  students have  successfully  participated  in the sport  event.

Arman Gulyan, lecturer  of the  Chair  of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, coach of  powerlifting,  informed  that the championship  was  conducted in 6 weight categories, our students performed in 4 weight categories: Ara Stepanyan won the  2^nd  prize in 75kg weight class, Gor Tatoyan  and  Gevorg Manukyan won respectively the 3^rd  and 4^th prizes in 60kg weight class,  Armen Yepremyan won the 4^th prize in 82.5kg  and  over weight class, Sargis Sargsyan won the 6^th prize  in 82.5kg weight class.

The  participants  were  awarded  certificates, the  ones took the 1^st -3^rd places  were  awarded medals  and prizes.
