PHD OF GREECE IONIAN UNIVERSITY IS IN ASUE

Yufantis Vasileos, PhD  of  Greece  Ionian University, was  hosted  at  ASUE  within the  framework of  “Cooperation Program  of   Education and  Science,  Culture  between the  RA and  Hellenic Republic Governments.

He  carries  out research  activity  headed  by  Vardan Satgsyan,  Head of  the  Chair  of Information Systems Management of Armenian State University of Economics,  Candidate  in Economics,  Professor.  Today  Vardan Sargsyan and  the  PhD  met  at  ASUE  “AMBERD”  Research Center  and outlined joint work plans.

In the interview  with   ASUE  Media  and Public Relations  Division  the  Head of  the  Chair tells that the  PhD conducts research  on “e-Governance”:  Sona  Asryan,  PhD  at  the  Chair  of  Information Systems Management  at ASUE,  also  conducts research on this  topic, hence,  meeting  of  two PhDs  is  planned  to  be  held  soon.

“I think this partnership is mutually beneficial to both Universities,  as they  have an   opportunity  to exchange experience, to acquire new skills and knowledge. Similar visits and contacts activate PhD’s research activities. Our  guest  has an opportunity  to  get  acquainted  with  the research  conducted  by  “AMBERD” young  researchers (Master  Degree  students).

I would  like  to  add  that it’s  planned  to  prepare  a  joint  article  with ASUE  PhD, which will cover issues related to e-governance (example  of  Armenia  and Greece)”;  mentioned  the Professor.

Summarizing the initial meeting, the parties agreed to conduct a deeper study in a  short  period  of  time.
