REPUBLICAN GAMES OF VOLLEYBALL HELD AT ASUE GYM WERE OVER

Volleyball  games (girls and boys) were  held  at ASUE gym on April 14-26 within the  framework  of  Armenian Universities Sport 15^th Republican Sport Games.

In the  result  of  girls’ games our  team won the 5^th place. The 1^st  was  Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture.

Simon Hakobyan, the acting Head of the Chair of Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense, informed ASUE Media  and Public Relations Division that all  games were held in a fair and pleasant atmosphere.

“Volleyball  games were highly organized this year.  Year by year culture of  organizing and  conducting games is  formed”;    he  said, noting that the  games was organized by   Armenian Volleyball  Federation.  

Gagik Vardanyan, Associate Professor  of the  mentioned   Chair,  coach of boys’  volleyball  team,  highly evaluated the games’  organization and  mentioned  that  ASUE boys  won the 5^th place among 11 universities. The 1^st was  Armenian State Engineering University.

Note, that judo games will  be  held on May 1-3 within the framework of the 15^th Sport games.  Other   sport games (athletics, shooting, basketball, mini football)  will  be  held on October and November.
