INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF ARMWRESTLING AT ASUE

Individual  championship  of  armwrestling  was  held  at  ASUE  by  the  initiative  of  the  Chair  of  Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense  and  Student  Council.  32  athletes (65, 75, 85 and more kg. weight)  from different  Departments  participated  in  it.

In the  interview  with  ASUE  Media  and   Public  Relations  Division Lyova  Samvelyan,  Professor  at  the  Chair of Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense, the chief referee  of  the  championship,  highlighted such  measures  and  mentioned; “The championship was held at a high level, we  plan to organize  such championships  in future”.

Here  are  the  results  of  the  championship  according  to  weight  classes:

65kg.-1. Edgar Hanesyan,  the  4^th  year  student  at  the  Department of Finance,

2. Mkrtich Mkrtchyan, the 1^st  year  student  at  the  Department of Finance,

3.Edvard  Sargsyan,  the 1^st  year  student  at  the  Department  of  Regulation of  Economy  and  International  Economic Relations.

75kg.-1. Albert Ter Balyan,  the 4^th  year student  at  the  Department  of  Finance, 2.Hakob  Mikayelyan, the 3^rd  year  student  at  the  same  Department, 3.Hayk  Shahbazyan, the 3^rd  year  student  of  the  Department of Management.

85kg.-1.Ishkhan  Baghdasaryan, the 1^st  year  student  at  the  Department  of  Finance, 3. Vache  Shirinyan, the  3^rd  year  student  at the  same  Department, 4.Nzhdeh Khanjyan,  the 2^nd  year  student  at the  Department  of  Finance.

The  winners  were  awarded  with  medals  and  certificates.

Yura  Martirosyan, the  3^rd year  student  at  the  Department  of  Finance,  was  awarded  for the  best refereeing.
