REGULAR SESSION OF RECTORATE BOARD
Regular session of Rectorate Board took place today at ASUE Conference Hall, which started discussing the issue of employment and academic discipline at ASUE.
From September 25 to October 30 by the recommendation of Koryun Atoyan, ASUE Rector, Professor Grigor Kirakosyan an adviser to the Rector and Robert Hambardzumyan an assistant to the Rector had conducted studies at the University Departments: following the administrative procedures, registrations of absences and activities at registers, labor discipline, planning the curriculum and schedules, Rectorate Board’s and Scientific Council’s decrees. Grigor Kirakosyan presented the results of the study and outlined that the situation had been improved comparing with the previous one, then draw attention to the recorded problems which referred to the mentioned directions. The adviser to the Rector stressed that the goal of such studies was to improve the University activity. Robert Hambardzumyan presented clarifications on some issues. After presenting the issue the members of the Rectorate Board got a recommendation to solve the problems.
The Deans of the Departments presented reports regarding the results of the first intermediate exams of the 2013-2014 academic year noting that the exams were held on according to the established schedule.
The Rectorate Board also discussed the issue of scholarship criteria for the students with high progress but socially vulnerable ones and made clarifications. The Decree will be operated at the University official website soon.
