THE HEAD OF THE CHAIR OF ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES PARTICIPATED IN 5th FESTIVAL OF FAIRY TALE TELLING AND DIALECTS

The  Head  of  the  Chair  of  Armenian  and  Russian  Languages  at  ASUE,  Professor  Mary  Zaqaryan  participated  in the 5th festival  of  fairy  tale  telling  and  dialects- “Three apples fell from the sky... “ organized on September 20-22  at the Museum of Hovhannes Tumanyan.

The main purpose of the festival is the preservation of Armenian dialects and fairy tales as they can be assigned to oblivion. The festival also aims to ensure the promotion of the culture of oral Armenian language and the use of dialects that are not currently used in their homeland /Western Armenia and Nakhichevan/.

By  the  way, as  the  official  website of  the RA  Ministry  of   Culture  informs the 5th Festival of Fairy Tale Telling and Dialects became the winner in the nomination “Best Practice Award”, conducted by the International Committee of Museums and was included in the program “Top 5 Attempts”.
