A UNIQUE EVENT IN THE UNIVERSITY’S SPORT LIFE

Olympic day was  started  with  running campaign  on  June 22  at  the  Republic Square.

Pupils of  sport schools,  students  of  educational  institutes,  colleges, runners  who  have long  years’  experience  participated  in it.  The  acting  Head of  the  Chair  of   Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense  Simon Hakobyan informed  ASUE  Media  and Public  Relations  Division about  this   and happily added that  our  students  Karen  Andreasyan  and  Narek Makaryan had won the 1^st  and  2^nd  places.  Our  athletes  were  awarded  with  certificate  of  International Olympic Committee  and  got  monetary awards. 

“This  is  a  unique  event  in our  University’s  sport  life. Our  boys  showed sport  will  and  thick and thin  desire  to  achieve  victory.  They  were  able  to  overcome  a  long  path  and keep high the  honor  of  our  University”, said  Simon Hakobyan and  added  that the  athletes  were   members  of  the  University’s  football  team  and  actively  participated in all sport  events.

Simon Hakobyan informs  that sport  events are  organized in different  countries  all  over  the  World   every year   on June 23  by  the  International Olympic  Committee.
